Quick Tip – Wednesday is Cheap Movie Day in Thailand

This is a quick tip that can save you a little bit of money.

As I’ve mentioned quite a few times on this website, seeing a movie at the cinema is a MUST when you are in Thailand. You’ll find that the theaters are nicer, cleaner, and newer than back home. And you will also find that it’s nearly half the cost.

For example, back in the states, it costs almost 12usd to see a movie. While in Thailand, unless you go VIP with a private sofa, you will rarely pay over 200 baht (6usd) per seat.

Here is a Quick Tip

On Wednesday, MOST of the theaters in Thailand have half-off days. So instead of paying 200 baht (6usd), you can get a ticket for 100 baht (3usd) or less.

Not all cinemas in Thailand offer half-off Wednesdays, but many do.

So next time you are in Bangkok, swing by Terminal 21 or one of the other major cinemas in Thailand and enjoy a move for a quarter of the cost than you’d pay back home.
