Koh Phangan Full Moon Party Schedule for 2016 / 2017

Hey Guys,

It’s been a while since I’ve written about the World Famous Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan Thailand.

If you aren’t too familiar with this event, it’s pretty much a “must” for any traveler under 40 who likes to party.

It takes place on the beaches of Koh Phangan with 20+ DJs and tens of thousands of party goers getting drunk, doing drugs, playing with body paint, and fucking.

It is a wild event that even after all my years of partying in Thailand, it still overwhelms me at the beginning.

Gods of Thailand Advice

1- When you arrive, you may be overwhelmed by the sheer size and scale of this beach party. Start by drinking one “bucket”.

2- By bucket two, you will be dancing and having the best fucking time.

3- By bucket three, you will be so wasted and caught in the moment, that all the friends you came with will be doing their own thing and nowhere in sight (drinking / dancing / fucking).

4- I prefer to arrive to the party from Koh Samui around 10pm to midnight. Take the speedboat from Samui. (Every travel agency shop will be selling this with hotel pickup). Though warning, taking a speedboat back to Samui at 6am while being wasted is not fun.

5- Many like to get a hotel on Koh Phangan starting 2 days before the party. If you like to hook up with hot tourists, this is your prime time. Many believe the days leading up to the party are the best for sex.
