There’s no need to worry about whether or not you’ll find something for the kids to do in Bangkok. This city has plenty of fun attractions that will amuse and even enrich kids during your stay. There are number of cool tours that will fit with any family’s agenda, or you can explore some of these fun sites on your own.
The Samphran District is home to an impressive elephant show that describes the life of not only elephants but also the Suay tribe, for whom these massive creatures are of great importance. See baby elephants and even a mock performance of a famous war. Later, you can see elephants playing and showing off their surprising skills. Other creatures here include fish and crocodiles. In fact, you can even witness crocodile wrestling. Kids and adults will both get a thrill from these amazing creatures. Visit from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Dream World is a huge theme park that is divided into a number of cool areas. Kids can choose to head to the fairy tale and story book inspired Fantasy Land or get some safe thrills in Adventure Land. There are many rides and play spaces available. Kids may even have the chance to meet some of their favorite characters during the daily parade. Especially attractive in this warm environment is a winter wonderland, so Dream World features an area covered in snow. Families can enjoy go-karting or river rafting as well. This park is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. It is located about ten minutes to the north of Don Muang Airport.
Drive your car or take a bus through this open animal park. Kids will love spotting the animals that roam about here and get a real sense of adventure. Creatures include deer, giraffes, and lions. You can also enjoy the attractions of the Marine Park, where children and adults will both appreciate an amazing array of sea creatures. Take in a show here to see impressive tricks performed by dolphins, birds, and other creatures. Both are located in Khlongsamwa and are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
