Recently I received an email asking for advice on how a couple traveling to Thailand can get “special” massages.   This is what they asked:

I hope to visit Thailand next week with my wife and I would like to know whether there are places which we both can get couple massage?

Although this isn’t my domain because I almost always tend to be a solo traveler.  There are three main ways you can accomplish this.  (The third is actually what they discovered when in Bangkok):

1- Soapy Massage

If you are looking for more “dirty” type massages, I would start with looking at a Soapy massage to see if you can work something out with the staff.  (I’ve had a few friends do that with their GF’s. for a 3 some type experience.)

2- Escort Agency

Last week I had drinks with a married couple that prefer escorts for this.  You can work out massage only or get the full package for you and your wife.  There are a couple of bangkokescort.com that come highly recommended from this couple.  (Though I can’t remember the girls names.  If you are interested, ask Maya about it.)

3- Travelers Advice – Banana Club

We wanted a couple massage and it was hard to find a man for my wife, but finally we went to Banana Club at Sukhumvit Soi 11.  There you can get a man for massage (dirty or good massage).  Of course it is easy for me to find a female masseuse since the whole area is massage central.
