“I’m gay and will be visiting Thailand soon, where are the best Gay Bars in Bangkok?”
Gay bars are to be found in several major areas in Bangkok, but some of the most popular are located in Soi 4. Check out some of the favorite bars below to start your evening off right:
DJ Station is the best known nightclub in the famous Soi 2 area. Here you will hear all the best club music, enjoy a small cabaret performance, and simply dance or hang out. Partly-dressed man enjoy the fun on the first two floors and even more in the lounge area on the third. It gets extremely crowded on the weekend. DJ Station is open from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. and admission is 200 baht.
Disco Disco is, well, a disco club. Here you can dance to your favorite disco tunes and hear some new on ones. It’s often crowded but you can always find a spot to hang aside and take it all in. Disco Disco is on Silom Soi 2 and is open from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
X Boom is a popular all-night venue that is perfect for long nights of partying and dancing. There are boys who perform fun dances of their own starting around the opening time and there are nightly shows at 11 p.m. X Boom has a bit of a go-go bar twist and is located on Soi Anuman Ratchathon. It is open from 8 p.m. to the early hours of the morning.
Expresso can get very crowded, but it is also seen as a place that is a bit calmer than DJ Station across the way. It’s great for people watching and having a quick drink. Meet someone new and enjoy the music from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. every night.
G.O.D. – which stands for Guys On Display – is one of the newest gay bars in Bangkok. It is conveniently located between Soi 2 and Soi 4. As you might guess, this is an excellent place to appreciate some good-looking guys and get into the groove for the night. It opens at 9 p.m. and hours extend late into the night.
