What You Should Do With 25 Days in Thailand? [VIP]

What You Should Do With 25 Days in Thailand
I love your website and all your great information. A friend and I are coming to Thailand on July 26th and staying for about 25 days. I was wondering if I can get some information from you regarding what cities to visit, where to stay, and general info like that. I was also interested to know if I should go from BKK to Pattaya first or BKK to Phuket first, since I wanted to attend the full moon party on Aug 14th. In Phuket what part of the island should I stay. In Bangkok I was thinking of staying at the AETAS hotel, is that a good one?

Thanks in Advance,

****

Hey ****,

Thanks for your kind words regarding our website. There’s a lot of good information available and I find myself referring back to it on more than one occasion.

Now to your questions…

Personally, I enjoy ending my trip in Bangkok. You can do a little shopping and the women in Bangkok are second to none. (Except maybe Pattaya…if you don’t mind “working” girls.)

I haven’t lived in Phuket, but I have partied there a few times and had a blast each time.

This is what I recommend for your Thai Adventure:

1- Stay in Bangkok for a couple of days. Check out our GoT Bangkok Guide to help you decide what to do. (I’m not familiar with your hotel, but you want to stay anywhere between Sukhumvit Soi 2 and Sukhumvit Soi 15

2- Fly to Phuket. Stay there a couple of days. The main hot spot is Patpong Road. Try to stay near there or in a nice hotel along the beach.

3- Visit Koh Phi Phi Don. This place is beautiful. No Thai girls around, but a good selection of tourist girls and awesome adventure activities.

4- Go to Koh Samui a few days before the Full Moon Party. Samui is one of my favorite places. Stay in the city Chaweng near Ark Bar.

5- One day before the Full Moon Party, go to Koh Phangan (if you can get a hotel). This is a 20 minute boat ride from Samui.

(I prefer to go to the Full Moon party the night it is happening. It’s only a 20 minute boat ride from Samui. For 20 dollars you can get a two way ticket and leave the party as late as 6:00am.)

6- If you’re interested in Scuba Diving, go to Koh Tao. A lot of fun and they have some nice bars full of foreign women. I got my open water certification done at Ban’s.

7- Pattaya time. This place is heaven if you love hot Thai girls and don’t mind paying.

8- End it in Bangkok

(GoT Tip– When you land in Bangkok, get a Soapy Massage in Annies Body Massage: http://www.anniesbangkok.com/)

If you have any question about these places, check out our website or shoot us an email.

Keep in touch and let me know how your trip went.

Enjoy paradise!

Hey, I enjoyed the website but I see you almost always leave Chiang Mai out. What is your take on the region?

    • That’s true. We haven’t focused much on Chiang Mai because we write about what interests us. And to be honest, Chiang Mai bores the hell out of me.

One trip is often enough. Check out some temples, eat cheap Thai food, go elephant trekking, and fuck some average looking Thai girls. (That’s CM in a nut shell.)

It’s also one of the cheapest places in Thailand to live if you are on a budget. But as far as real lifestyle design value, it tends to fall short.
