During high season, the nightlife in Haad Yao and Haad Salad is fairly active and you can find some good parties on the beach that last until the early morning. During low season, nightlife here is much more laid-back, but there are always opportunities for a good night out in Haad Yao, especially if you’re looking for a simple good drink and chat.
Bebob is located between Haad Salad and Haad Yao. With good drinks and good music, Bebob is one of the most popular places for expats and travelers to stop, along with Apache. It is open from 4 p.m. until late.
Jack’s Bar is located in Haad Yao a little way back from the beach. Reasonably priced with good drinks as well as food options, the bar has a large TV for sports and is open from 10 p.m. until late.
Apache is located not far from Haad Yao Beach, on the road going towards Haad Salad. Many expats come to Apache, and it has a laid-back atmosphere with an area that features traditional Thai cushions where patrons can hang out. The owner is friendly and usually around to tell stories about the island. The Apache opens at 4 p.m. and stays open late.
