Nightlife Guide for Ao Thong Nai Pan Noi and Yai

Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thon Nai Pan Yai don’t have the swinging nightlife found elsewhere on Phangan Island, but both liven up as the evening gets later and you can have a great time dancing and listening to the DJs. Ao Thong Nai Pan Noi is the livelier of the two, with more opportunities for dancing and having fun, but Thong Nai Pan Yai has its own fun in a more beach-party style.

From fire dances to late night meals, there are a few options you can check out in Thong Nai Pan Noi and Yai, but make sure it’s fairly late when you head out, because the fun doesn’t really start until well after dark.

Sand

Sand is a livelier night spot that plays fun dance music via DJ. It is located on Main Street in Thong Nai Pan Noi near several massage parlors towards the end of town. Sand also offers tattoos, so be sure to check that out if you’re interested. They open at 6:30 and stay open late, with the best of the night happening later.
