More than one thousands shops and several dozen dining venues are located at Asiatique at the riverfront. Starting at about 5 p.m., you can spend hours roaming this large complex. Asiatique closes at midnight and is about ten minutes away from the BTS station over at Saphan Taksin. It is most commonly accessed by boat.

Cigars are available. Sky Bar is part of Sirocco, a fine restaurant which does require reservations. Sky Bar is open from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Bamboo Bar

Bamboo Bar has a cool jungle themed décor and is a sophisticated place to enjoy a cocktail or two while listening to some excellent jazz music. Performers from around the world do their part to add to the great atmosphere here. The Bamboo Bar is located the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok and is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. It closes at 1 a.m. the rest of the week.

Zeta Bar

The Zeta Bar is decorated with soft lights and leather seating, giving it a great lounge bar feeling that is sure to be a hit. Music is featured and cocktails are a favorite here. The Zeta Bar is located at the Millennium Hilton. It is open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Muay Thai Live

Asiatique is a large complex and among its attractions is the Muay Thai Live event. Muay Thai, sometimes referred to as Thai boxing, is an impressive and violent sport that requires great skill. This show offers a great chance to explore this amazing cultural tradition. It lasts for about an hour and a half and starts at 8 p.m.

Calypso Cabaret

Another Asiatique attraction is the Calypso Cabaret. The ladyboy performers put on a stellar show complete with elaborate lip-synching and equally elaborate costumes. They are great at what they do and a visit to the cabaret is sure to guarantee a fun and glittery night out. There are two shows per day. They occur at 8:15 p.m. and again at 9:45 p.m.
